Yesterday, Lightning in a Bottle announced the speaker and workshop lineups for the Beacon and Craft, two of the six areas making up the Compass, LIB's new educational hub debuting this year. The Compass, the newly re-imagined area of Lightning in a Bottle, will offer festivalgoers a diverse array of educational opportunities that engage the senses, expand the mind, and inspire community action. Workshops and presentations will include classes on grassroots political activism, social justice, climate change and indigenous land rights, digital activism, identifying truth in journalism and social media, decolonization, art activism, and more.
Serving as the largest gathering place, the Beacon will hold keynote presentations from visionaries and leaders across many disciplines and cultures. Speakers and presentations at the Beacon will include:
