Emmy-and Tony-winning actress and recording artist Kristin Chenoweth returns to the Hollywood Bowl, Friday, August 23, at 8pm and Saturday, August 24, at 8pm, to perform her first solo show at the legendary venue, featuring the Los Angeles Philharmonic, led by Kevin Stites, for a family enjoyable evening of music, fun material and more.

The uniquely talented and acclaimed star has specifically chosen her musical selections for the Hollywood Bowl, and will include stunning gowns specially designed by Mark Zunino for the performances, and friends from Broadway to perform alongside Chenoweth on various songs throughout the evening. Chenoweth's excitement, combined with her passion and talent led her to create and execute two diverse acts for her first solo show at the Hollywood Bowl, which her fans have never and will never see performed live again. With music from Hollywood films in the first act and "pure Chenoweth" in the second act, the special evening ends with dazzling fireworks accompanied by Chenoweth and the LA Phil.

Chenoweth effortlessly transitions between stage, television and film with the captivating charm that only she can project. She has received an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Pushing Daisies. Many remember her show-stealing, Tony-winning performance in You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown and her triumphant star turn when she originated the role of Glinda the Good Witch in Wicked, which earned her a leading actress Tony Award nomination. In 2010 Chenoweth was seen on Broadway as Fran Kubelik in the revival of Promises, Promises starring alongside Sean Hayes at the Broadway Theatre.

Returning to the Hollywood Bowl with his grace and musical exuberance is Kevin Stites, as musical director and conductor.

Stites' list of music credits includes The Threepenny Opera; Fiddler on the Roof; Nine, which won a 2003 Tony Award for Best Musical Revival; and Maury Yeston's Titanic, which won a 1997 Tony Award for Best Musical. As music Director for over 60 productions, which include Les Miserables, Miss Saigon and The Phantom Of The Opera, Stites has been honored with six Joseph Jefferson Awards throughout his career.Stites' TV and film credits include The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the NBC primetime variety special ROSIE LIVE!, The Late Show with David Letterman and the Tony Awards.
