JPAS Theatre Kids! Holds Auditions For A CHRISTMAS CAROL 9/12

Are you a Theatre Kid? JPAS Theatre Kids! are back again this season with productions for kids by kids! Kids ages 7-15 are invited to participate in A CHRISTMAS CAROL on stage at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre December 11-20, 2009. Auditions will be held Saturday, September 12, 2009 from 1PM-4PM at the Westwego Performing Arts Theatre, 177 Sala Avenue in Westwego. Auditions are by appointment only! Please call 504-885-2000 ext. 202 to schedule a 5 minute audition slot. Kids should come prepared to read a short scene and sing a Christmas Carol of their choice a Capella. Kids are welcome to bring a headshot and resume if available, but this is not required. Audition packets with selected scenes and other helpful information will be available for pick up at the JPAS Box Office, 1118 Clearview Parkway in Metairie by September 1, 2009. There is no enrollment fee to participate in these productions. Rehearsals will be held in the evenings and on weekends beginning three weeks prior to the opening of the show.

A Christmas Carol is packed with humor, excitement, drama, music and warmth of the holiday season.
