JACCC Presents Kenny Endo & Friends in Concert, April 3
World-renowned taiko artist and Los Angeles native Kenny Endo returns to his hometown to celebrate his 35th anniversary of uniquely innovative and masterful performance. A performer of both traditional and contemporary works, Endo is globally recognized and highly regarded for his spirited performances and visionary compositions.
The concert will also feature Kinnara Taiko, one of the seminal and highly influential taiko groups in North America, On Ensemble, contemporary taiko quartet, Kaoru Watanabe (Japanese and western flutes, taiko), and a special guest performer! As part of this special commemorative concert, Endo will be debuting a brand new composition. Don't miss this opportunity to experience superior taiko and world music!
Kenny Endo & Friends in Concert is held on Saturday, 04.03.10 8pm, at Aratani/Japan America Theatre.
