The Attic Theatre and Film Centre (located at 5429 W. Washington Blvd.) in Los Angeles is presenting Evening Standard Award-winner Rebecca Gilman's (The Glory of Living, The Crime of the Century, The American In Me) thriller Boy Gets Girl, which opens at the Attic on Friday, May 25th. The show will play Fridays and Saturdays at 8PM through June 30th, 2007. Cindy Jenkins (Assassins, Antigone) directs.

Press releases state, "Rebecca Gilman offers up a peppy, edgy New York City-as-urban jungle chiller about a career woman, Theresa Bedell, whose life of accomplishment is quickly destroyed by an insane admirer.  Tony is a blind date-turned stalker who invades every aspect of his victim's life."

The show premiered at Chicago's Goodman Theater and has played in New York City at the City Center, in Seattle at Seattle Rep, and at the Geffen Playhouse in L.A. In 2000, Boy Gets Girl was selected as the Number One play of the year by Time Magazine.

Boy Gets Girl plays Fridays and Saturdays, at 8PM, starting Friday May 25th, through June 30th.  Tickets are $20, with Student and Senior discounts available.  Call the Attic Theatre at (323) 525-0600 Ext 2# for reservations and information.
