Gershon Hosts Annual Gay & Lesbian Center Gala 5/1 Feat. Zellwegger et al.
Bye Bye Birdie alum Gina Gershon will host the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center's annual event 'An Evening with Women' on May 1. The event raises much-needed funds for the women-specific services of the L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center. This year's event will feature a special performance by Heart and Linda Perry, and special appearances by Renee Zellweger, and Sarah Silverman. The dinner menu will be designed by Jamie Lauren of 'Top Chef.'
One of the night's big events will be a silent auction featuring a gift card for Fergie Footwear and signed Fergie memorabilia, a tattoo by Kat von D, Bass lessons from Flea of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and a private in-home dinner by Top Chef Jamie Lauren. Tickets are available online Here. Tickets range from $300 for general seating, to $15,000 for a VIP table in the 1st row of the pit. Tickets are also available by phone, (323) 993-7638.
'An Evening with Women' will take place on May 1 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel, Cocktails and the silent auction will begin at 6pm. Dinner and the program will begin at 8pm.
The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center programs and services supported by 'An Evening with Women' include women's health and medical, legal assistance, domestic violence prevention & education, cultural programs, self-enrichment courses, social events and discussion groups.
