Falcon Theatre Announces 2009-10 5 Play Subscription Season

By:

Falcon Theatre Founder, Garry Marshall, is thrilled to announce the Falcon Theatre's 2009-2010 5-Play Subscription Season. The Falcon's 8th subscription series will feature five plays, an eclectic mix of comedy, drama and parody, including one World Premiere, one West Coast Premiere, one Broadway Hit and two Troubadour Theater Company musicals.

The season begins in the City of Thebes as the Troubadour Theater Company brings together Sophocles' twisted tragedy, Oedipus the King, and the music of Elvis, the King of Rock ‘n Roll, in their musical parody OEDIPUS THE KING, MAMA! Next, it's the West Coast Premiere of the inspiring drama about older people discovering new dreams in EXIT STRATEGY. For the holidays, The Troubadour Theater Company returns with a brand new musical parody coupling Barry Manilow's music and the classic holiday tale of Frosty the Snowman in FROSTY THE SNOW MANILOW. Kicking off the New Year, it's the true story of tone-deaf diva Florence Foster Jenkins in the Broadway hit SOUVENIR. And finally, a down-on-his-luck writer gets caught up in a murder mystery of sorts in the World Premiere comedy THE PSYCHIC.
