East West Players Announces Development Manager Hire
East West Players (EWP), the nation's longest-running professional theater of color and the largest producing organization of Asian American artistic work, is pleased to announce the hiring of Dora Quach as Development Manager, specializing in Individual Giving. This new hire arrives during a period of significant growth and visibility for the organization as it concludes its biggest and most successful 52nd Anniversary Season, The Company We Keep.
Ms. Quach will be responsible for overseeing individual donor and corporate sponsorship programs, implementing a comprehensive annual giving campaign, supporting Board development, and contributing to the effective implementation and execution of key annual events, including donor cultivation events and EWP's annual Visionary Awards gala. Ms. Quach joins EWP with over nine years of experience in non-profit and arts management, fundraising, and event planning. She has previously worked in fund management, fundraising, and administrative roles for Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles (GSGLA), Center of the Pacific Asian Family (CPAF), and the Chinese American Museum. She received her BA in Art History from UC San Diego.
Snehal Desai, EWP's Producing Artistic Director, says, "I'm thrilled to welcome Dora Quach as our new Development Manager. Dora brings with her many years of experience in the nonprofit and arts sectors, and also a passion for working with Asian Pacific Islander communities. As EWP expands our giving campaigns, I look forward to Dora contributing her valuable skills and expertise to guide us in these efforts."
As the nation's premier Asian American theater organization, East West Players produces artistic work and educational programs that foster dialogue exploring Asian Pacific Islander (API) experiences.
