Disney's ALADDIN JR Opens This Weekend at the Grove

Get ready to have the magic carpet swept from under you as Aladdin and his group of magical friends make their way to The Grove Theatre. The street urchin turned Prince Ali will be whisking you off to a whole new world of magic and mystery, as he meets Princess Jasmine, makes new friends, and learns some valuable lessons about love and friendship along the way.

The Grove Theatre is excited to announce the opening of Disney's Aladdin JR. with music by Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice, based on the screenplay by Ron Clements and John Musker, Ted Elliott and Terry Rossio. This version, directed by Kristopher Kyer, offers all the characters and the best numbers from the movie and the Broadway musical including "Friend Like Me" and the award-winning "A Whole New World".

Disney's Aladdin JR., a magic carpet ride of Genie's lamps and adventure, is a show for the whole family. This show is one that is sure to captivate young audiences and remind grown-ups that there is a child in all of us.

Disney's Aladdin JR. opens this Friday, June 9th and runs on weekends through June 24th. Tickets are $25.00 and $20.00 for adults and $15 for children and students and can be purchased by calling (909) 920-4343, by visiting The Grove box office or on our website at www.grovetheatre.com. The Grove Theatre is located at 276 E. Ninth Street, Upland, CA 91786.
