Day of The Living Festival in Venice Beach Breaks Silence Surrounding Subject of Suicide, Now thru 10/7

By:

The Day of The Living Festival is an extraordinary four-day-event inspired by the highly touted indie documentary Don't Change the Subject, which was written and directed by Mike Stutz. The film, which brings together an array of performing artists as well as suicide survivors, has been playing to glowing reviews and overwhelming audience response at college sneak previews all around the United States.

Now, with the Day of the Living Festival, talented performers from the film team up with other critically acclaimed performersfrom around the country to celebrate the lives of those that we've lost and fight for the lives of those who are still with us. The festival is produced by Hoffenrich Productions in association with John Clancy and Nancy Walsh, founding members of The New York International Fringe Festival.

"Don' t want to talk about suicide? Let' s dance about it. Let' s sing about it. Let's tell jokes about it. Nothing is off limits, except silence. It's not about how you die, it's about how you live." – Mike Stutz

During the Day Of The Living Festival, an extended trailer for Don't Change The Subject will be played at each event.
