Chris Luna and The TCB Flashband Perform NEW YEAR'S EVE WITH ELVIS at The Grove Theatre, 12/31

Fans of the Elvis Presley will be excited to hear that Chris Luna and the TCB Flashband, are performing at The Grove Theatre on New Years’ Eve at 9:00 pm. Chris Luna is one of Southern California's premiere Elvis Tribute artists and has been performing his Elvis Tribute Show (Chris Luna - A Tribute to ELVIS!) since 1998 with all the energy, passion and spirit of "The King".

At a very young age, Chris would mimic “The King” while singing Elvis’ hit record “Hound Dog”. His actual venture into performing as “The King” came at age 19, with a trip to Universal Studios Hollywood where, at a novelty recording studio in the park, he recorded “Teddy Bear” and found he sounded like “The King”.

While pursuing music as a hobby in various rock bands and choirs, Chris was asked to add his “Elvis” to one of the acts. Word of mouth spread, and Chris began his career performing Elvis tribute shows all over Southern California and Las Vegas.

Chris Luna reawakens the memories of Elvis and pays tribute to the Elvis legend as he recreates the excitement and energy of an Elvis concert. Chris' remarkable re-creation brings to life all that was and still is Elvis Presley; from the early days of Rock’n'Roll through to the end of his career in the Jumpsuit Era of the 1970s. Chris is accompanied on stage by the TCB Flashband, one of Southern California's top live music Tribute Bands.

Doors open at 8:30 pm. Tickets are $40 and $50, and include light hors d’oeuvres and midnight champagne (non-alcoholic beverages for those who prefer them).
