By:

CHALK REPERTORY THEATRE presents STUDIO CHEKHOV - A one-night only theatrical event on February 16, featuring excerpts from two of Anton Chekhov's greatest works in new versions by Libby Appel:

THE CHERRY ORCHARD directed by Jeff Wienckowski

UNCLE VANYA directed by Larissa Kokernot

This winter, Chalk Rep has been exploring both scripts with an eye on production, and on February 16th we'd like to welcome our community into the process, back at the cemetery where our journey as a company began.

Please join Chalk Rep on Sunday, February 16 at the Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd. in Hollywood.

5:30pm Doors Open for a reception with food, drink and live music by Natalie Myers and the Firewalkers

7:00pm Excerpts From the Plays, as well as some special announcements from the Chalk Rep team.

Featuring performances by:

Corey Brill, Jennifer Chang, William Charlton, Lorene Chesley, Feodor Chin, Mindy Cohn, Amin El Gamal, Sara Garcia, Charles Janasz, Brian Johnson, Emily Kuroda, C.S. Lee, Tess Lina, Hugo Medina, Owiso Odera, Teri Reeves, Brian Slaten & Hilary Ward

...as well as a chance to mingle with the company, meet the artists, and re-connect with the Chalk Rep community.

$10 suggested donation includes the readings and reception.

The event is open to the public, but reservations are strongly encouraged! RSVP to info@chalkrep.com. More information at www.chalkrep.com.

The Masonic Lodge at Hollywood Forever Cemetery is a Historically Landmarked building and is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible. We deeply regret any inconvenience.
