One year ago, They Played Productions launched Captivated, their modern trilogy of a take on Frankenstein. An unconventional and unique retelling of the horror story, Captivated has taken audiences to a party, to a wake, to track a conspiracy and even to a holiday past. Now, they complete the tale with Captivated: You, the immersive production that makes you the final character.

This time, the audience will unveil the final chilling mysteries by stepping directly into the story. There is no escape as you stop watching events and become part of the tale. You decide who to trust. You decide who wins and who loses. Every choice you make impacts the ending. But never forget--your choices also make you complicit, so choose carefully...

Captivated: You is designed for both old and new audiences. We want you to join us whether you're brand new to this tale or whether you've been working with Mike, Justine, Emma G. Nation and others all along. Everyone will be able to join in and make decisions both together and independently and every choice will matter before it's done.

They Played Productions has designed a show with over 30 different endings, each dependent on audience decisions. Audiences can return multiple times, make different choices, and see how those choices impact their experience.

Captivated: You is an immersive experience designed for mature audiences. It is an exploration of need, love, obsession and the true depths that someone will take to achieve their goals--at any cost. It is a self-contained chapter that can also be enjoyed as part of the larger trilogy. The production has been written for both old and new audiences--both can enjoy the experience..

Participants will traverse the location and at times be split into smaller groups or even individually for additional intense encounters. There will be snacks and non-alcoholic drinks available during the 60-75 minute production.

Captivated: You is the 7th live production from They Played Productions, launched by entertainment veterans Erik Blair and Thea Rivera. Blair has directed and performed in over 100 theatrical productions nationwide as well as projects with Sony, Disney and Warner Brothers. Rivera has worked for over 20 years in theatre including directing and producing multiple projects. The two formed They Played Productions in 2017 to create content for all forms of visual entertainment.
