Broadway Moms to Perform at E Spot Lounge at TRIPLE THREAT, 9/21
THIS MONTH ALL OUR PERFORMERS ARE NOT ONLY FROM BROADWAY AND HAVE TOURED THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD... BUT THEY ARE ALSO ALL MOTHERS THEMSELVES!
September 21st will be a night to remember! This month's TRIPLE THREAT will feature Fuchsia, Carly Thomas Smith, Sharon Catherine Brown, and Tracy Miller; with Lisa Marie Petersen and Laurie Cadevida Lubicz. These ladies have graced Broadway stages in DREAMGIRLS, THE LION KING, LES MISERABLES, WE WILL ROCK YOU, DRACULA, HAIRSPRAY, JUAN DARIEN, JOSEPH, and others, and have toured the country in some of Broadway's biggest hits.
These performers have been blessed over the years, and in keeping with the long standing tradition of Broadway shows and companies serving charities, groups, and organizations, we've decided to give back this month: all the proceeds for Monday's show will go to Club 21!
TRIPLE THREAT is a concert series hosted by Broadway and film star Michael-Leon Wooley and features the TRIPLE THREAT Band under the baton of Ron Barnett.
Club 21 is a resource center for kids with Down syndrome and their families in the Los Angeles area. Their mission is to provide the tools and resources that enable individuals with Down syndrome to be fully included in society. Their goal is for every person with Down syndrome to have independence, access, and belonging.
Doors open at 7pm for dinner and drinks. Tickets are $25 with a 2 item minimum, and are available in advance at www.espotlounge.com. The E Spot Lounge is located on the upper level of Vitello's Restaurant at 4349 Tujunga Avenue, Studio City, CA. Valet parking is available.
