The Bob Baker Marionette Theater will usher in the Holiday Season with "Bob Baker's Holiday Spectacular" opening November 14, 2009 and playing through January 10th, 2010. The production features everything from the eight days of Chanukah to a trip to Santa's Workshop, The Wizard of Fantasy, side kick Demi Star, and over 100 of Bob Baker's exquisitely designed marionettes.

A Holiday Spectacular is an hour-long revue. Visits with the Puppeteers and refreshments in the theater's Party Room will follow the performances.

A Holiday Spectacular will play Tuesday through Friday at 10:30 a.m.; Saturday at 10:30am and 2:30pm; and Sunday at 2:30pm.  Tickets are $20.00 for adults and children, $15 for seniors. Children under 2 will be admitted free of charge.  Reservations are required and can be made by calling 213-250-9995 or visiting www.bobbakermarionettes.com.

The Bob Baker Marionette Theater, founded by Bob Baker and Alton Wood in 1963, is the oldest children's theater company in Los Angeles. In June 2009, the theater was designated as a Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument.
