Big Band of Barristers to Join June Lockhart, Hal Linden and More Set for Veterans Day Concert at Shrine Auditorium, 11/9

America's No. 1 Legal Band, Gary Greene, Esq. and His Big Band of Barristers will join forces with celebrities -- Pat Boone, Tom Dreesen, Hal Linden, June Lockhart, Judge Judy's bailiff "Byrd" and former Beach Boys member Patrick Kelly, Esq. (who also served as President of the California State Bar) - for a special Veterans Day concert in honor of Veterans and Members of the Armed Forces. It all takes place on Sunday afternoon, November 9 at Shrine Auditorium, Los Angeles. Free admission.

They are giving back, with this lively and inspiring concert, to the brave men and women who fought and risked their lives for our country. The Big Band of Barristers will perform a Sentimental Journey with music from the Golden Era of Big Bands including In The Mood, Chattanooga Choo Choo, Moonlight Serenade, Begin the Beguine, Sing Sing Sing, Body and Soul, Blue Moon, a Beach Boys medley and a big band arrangement of Stars And Stripes Forever. Actor Hal Linden will lead the band on clarinet in a Benny Goodman medley. The Al Malaikah Shrine is hosting this program, and it is open to the general public at no charge.

Gary Greene, Esq. and his Big Band of Barristers is composed of lawyers, judges, law students and legal staff. In 2012, Greene and his Barristers performed in Chicago at the Art Institute and took first place in the American Bar Association's "Battle of the Lawyer Bands" nation-wide competition. The Barristers were featured at the Radio and Television News Association's Golden Mike Awards in Universal City in January 2013. They also performed the Law Day Concert before the Los Angeles City Council at City Hall in 2013, the Beverly Hills Centennial Concert in 2014 as well as programs for the American Diabetes Association, Shriners Hospitals for Children, Magen David Adom, Hollywood Remembers Worlds AIDS Day, among many others. Through many of these volunteer concerts, the Big Band has raised tens of thousands of dollars for those who cannot afford legal services and other charitable causes.
