This version of Mia Fazio Truxaw's play, Brothers Grimm, Sisters Wild, opens on August 31, 2018 for a limited 5 week run in two venues. Produced by Our Dramatic Solutions, the company of the playright's husband, Danny Truxaw, this delightful original work is being directed by Natasha Bloom first at the West Valley Playhouse, followed by the Whitmore/Lindley Theatre.

Brothers Grimm, Sisters Wild is a sweet show about why those brothers wrote down all those stories to begin with, and who helped them do it. Familiar fairy tales come to life, as the brothers come to realize the importance of what will become their lifes' work. It's appropriate for all ages, although recommended for ages 5 and up.

This production will be using design elements from previously workshopped versions of the play, and includes new original music written for the show. Audiences can expect a lot of familiar stories in addition to some potentially new favorites. Running time is about 90 minutes and there are multiple daytime performances perfect for families.

Brothers Grimm, Sisters Wild runs August 31-September 9th at the West Valley Playhouse in Canoga Park: Friday nights at 7:30, Saturdays 10:30, 2:30, and 6:30 and Sundays at 2:30 and 6:30. September 14-30 at the Whitmore/Lindley Theatre in North Hollywood (same times but no 10:30am shows). Tickets are $15 for Adults/$10 for children.
