The Los Angeles premiere of BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL begins performances tonight, Tuesday April 10 at the Pantages Theatre in Hollywood for a limited five week engagement through Sunday May 13.  Broadway/L.A. is announcing that a day-of-show lottery for a limited number of $25 seats will be held for each performance.

Each day, 2½ hours prior to show time, people who present themselves at the Pantages box office will have their names placed in a lottery drum and then thirty minutes later, names will be drawn for a limited number of seats at $25 each, cash only.  This lottery is available only in-person at the box office, with a limit of two tickets per person.  One entry per person per show.  An ID is required to purchase the tickets.

Based on the international smash-hit film, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL features music by Elton John, book and lyrics byLee Hall, choreography by Peter Darling and direction by Stephen Daldry.  BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL earned critical acclaim on Broadway including 10 Tony Awards®.
