AwesomeTech Industries to Present THE WHEEL OF INVENTION at Hollywood Fringe

By:

Writer/Director Brandon Beck and Producer Beth Scorzato, the co-owners of production company AwesomeTech Industries, announced that their play, THE WHEEL OF INVENTION, will be performed at the 2016 Hollywood Fringe Festival this June.

THE WHEEL OF INVENTION premiered at the Los Angeles Theater Festival in September 2015, where it won runner up for Best Musical. The Hollywood Fringe Festival production will include the premiere of a brand new first act, expanding on the world of THE WHEEL OF INVENTION.

This darkly witty, dystopian comedy is set in a fictional theme park called Weintraubsylvania, in West Nyack, New York. Its creator, Herman J. Weintraub, was a deeply disturbed visionary. The play opens with a tour of the theme park, complete with singing birds and banjo-playing bears. The show culminates with Weintraubsylvania's star attraction, THE WHEEL OF INVENTION. Instead of looking back at the past, the attraction follows a prototypical American family's journey into the future and into Herman's own madness.
