American Contemporary Ballet to Present THE NUTCRACKER SUITE
November 25 - December 24.
L.A.'s most in-demand 'Nutcracker' is also its most mysterious, inviting audiences into a fantasy snow globe of sensory delights 300 feet above the city - if they can find it. Those that do have returned to American Contemporary Ballet's The Nutcracker Suite so frequently that the company has doubled its performance schedule twice since the ballet's premiere and is adding more seats this season to keep up with demand.
ACB's immersive one-hour take on the holiday favorite features the beautiful, joyful dance audiences expect, but much more of what they wouldn't: a live performance of Tchaikovsky's sublime score, waltzing, swirling Snowflakes almost close enough to touch, and endless surprises that must be seen to be believed, each leaving guests to wonder what could possibly happen next.
It's hard to say whether adults or kids are more enchanted by The Nutcracker Suite, but easy to guarantee that holiday magic-seekers of all ages will remember their visit forever.
