It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad Weekend! Come celebrate the 50th Anniversary of It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World, starting at Ghettogloss On Saturday, Oct 26, then off to the Cinerama Dome on Sunday, Oct 27th.
Special guests attending the GHETTOGLOSS event on 10/26 include, Barrie Chase, Mrs. Stanley Kramer, Katherine Kramer, It's the 50th anniversary of It's a Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad World, and --guess what? You can own an authentic piece of the movie!
Ghettogloss is pleased to present the unveiling of the long awaited fine art and functional art (even wearable art) IMMMMW Collection from Academy Award nominated and Golden Globe winning artist, Dave Woodman. Woodman has recently created a line of shift knobs, jewelry, belt buckles, paperweights, charms, models and assorted paintings and sculptures using authentic bits and bobs from Jimmy "The Smiler" Durante's crashed car. Dave has been a Hollywood animator and illustrator for over thirty-five years, having worked on such blockbusters as Disney's Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin.In the spirit of Halloween, Dress like your favorite MMMMW character to the opening and receive a signed limited edition print from artist Dave Woodman. SPECIAL GUEST APPEARANCE BY BARRIE CHASE.
For a small fee Barrie will be signing artworks by Dave Woodman.
