24th Street Theatre to Present PATO, MUERTE Y TULIPAN, 10/5-6

24th Street Theatre presents an international co-production with Mexico's Compañía Proyecto Perla: "Pato, Muerte y Tulipán" ("Duck, Death and Tulip") for three performances only: Oct. 5 and Oct. 6.

Pato, Muerte y Tulipán ("Duck, Death and Tulip") - Enter a world made of paper, words, leaves, water, snow, moons and suns as Duck and Death invite young and old alike to join them on a road full of questions about what it means to be alive. Three dimensional figures emerge from the flat pages of a story book in this beautiful and moving performance from Mexico's Compañía Proyecto Perla, presented in Spanish and English by a mix of live actors and puppets. Recommended for ages 5+.

The show is written and directed by Haydeé Boetto and based on the story "Ente, Tod und Tulpe" by Wolf Erlbruch. Featuring original music by James Lieberman and starring Daniela Arroio and Micaela Gramajo, and live English translation by Daniel Galo. The show also features set design by Edyta Rzewuska and lighting design by Matthias Gorlero.
