24th Street Theatre presents an international co-production with Mexico's Compañia Hecho a Mano 'Lagrimas de Agua Dulce' ('Tears of Sweet Water'). Three performances only: today and tomorrow, Oct. 12 and Oct. 13. 2013.

Lágrimas de Agua Dulce ("Tears of Sweet Water") - Sofia is a little girl crying tears of sweet water. This may go unnoticed in some places, but her small town in Mexico is afflicted by drought, so this event unleashes the greed of adults. Sofia is forced to cry endlessly in order to provide water for her people. Presented by Mexico's Compañía Hecho a Mano in Spanish with English supertitles. Recommended for ages 5+.

Written by Jaime Chabaud, the show is directed by Pearl Szuchmacher and performed by Ana Zavala. Presented by 24th STreet Theatre and Compañía Hecho a Mano in Spanish with English supertitles on Saturday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m. & 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Oct. 13 at 2 p.m. at the 24th STreet Theatre, 1117 West 24th Street, Los Angeles, Calif.
