The probing classic “Quartermaine’s Terms” by prizewinning playwright Simon Gray, author of the equally celebrated “Butley” and “Otherwise Engaged,” is an intimate and moving look into the lives of St. John Quartermaine and his fellow faculty at a small school in Cambridge that teaches English to foreigners. The play is an artful portrait of doom and gloom blended with bristling wit and dry, even uproarious comedy. Ten performances over three weekends: June 12, 13, 14 at 8 PM; June 15 at 3 PM; June 20, 21 at 8 PM; June 22 at 3 PM; June 27, 28 at 8 PM; June 29 at 3 PM.
