Theatre Three is Long Island's only children's theatre exclusively committed to presenting original musicals for young audiences. And now, as part of every Theatre Three Children's Theatre season we have introduced Sensory Friendly performances. In our continued effort to grow the appreciation and accessibility of live theatre, the inclusion of such programming welcomes families with sensory sensitivities and other challenges in an environment of fun and understanding. Here is what our audience can expect with our Sensory Friendly Performances: A Social Story on Theatre Three's website available at least one week prior to the performance. House lights remain on throughout the performance and flashing lights and strobe effects (if applicable) are removed. Sound levels lowered for a gentler audible experience. Patrons can feel free to move around the theatre auditorium. Clean blankets and stuffed animals are available in the lobby during the performance for patrons who would like to take a break from the performance. No intermission. Actors are available for a meet and greet after every performance! Tickets are complementary!Sensory Performances sponsored by:The Furnari Team of Exit Realty Island Elite

Theatre Three illuminates the human experience with exemplary, intimate theatre by nurturing authors, artists and audiences. As a recognized pillar of the North Texas arts community, T3 enriches lives by bringing engaging, provocative, and professionally produced theatrical experiences. Outside of performances, we nurture artistic skills by fostering local playwrights, training adult actors, and engaging young artists with internship opportunities and summer youth programming.
