The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport announces its next special events in their ongoing Broadway Concert Series on Saturday, November 9, 2013 at 8 PM, and a Special Benefit Concert on Friday, November 8, 2013 at 8 PM to benefit St. Patrick's Elementary School in Huntington.

Produced exclusively for the John W. Engeman Theater by New York Casting Director Stephen DeAngelis, five of New York's finest performers will recreate some of their most memorable career highlights and sharing amusing behind-the-scenes anecdotes.

Saturday 11/9/13:

Broadway performers scheduled to appear include Lawrence Clayton (Bells Are Ringing; It Ain't Nothin' But the Blues; The Civil War; Once Upon a Mattress; The High Rollers Social and Pleasure Club; Dreamgirls), 4X Tony Award nominee and Drama Desk winner and 2X Drama Desk Award nominee Gregg Edelman (The Mystery of Edwin Drood; A Tale of Two Cities; Wonderful Town; Into the Woods; 1776; Passion; Anna Karenina; Evita; Falsettos; City of Angels; Cabaret; Anything Goes; Les Miserables; Oliver!; Cats), Leigh Ann Larkin (A Little Night Music; Gypsy), Drama Desk Award nominee Amy Spanger (Chicago; Elf; Rock of Ages; The Wedding Singer; Urinetown The Musical; Kiss Me, Kate; Sunset Boulevard) and Sarah Stiles (On A Clear Day You Can See Forever, Avenue Q, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee). Musical Director/Accompanist will be Eugene Gwozdz.

Broadway performers scheduled to appear include Derrick Baskin (Memphis; The Little Mermaid; The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee), Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot; Passing Strange), Drama Desk Award nominee Kecia Lewis-Evans (Leap of Faith; Shrek; The Drowsy Chaperone; Chicago; Once on This Island; Ain't Misbehavin'; Dreamgirls; Big River), Tony Award nominee Rob McClure (Chaplin!; Avenue Q; I'm Not Rappaport) and Angel Reda (Chicago). Musical Director/Accompanist will be Eugene Gwozdz

This concert is a fundraiser for St. Patrick's School of Huntington, NY.

The Broadway Concert Series has to date showcased the talents of 155 different artists whose combined credits include the following accolades: 8 Tony Award wins, 46 Tony Award nominations, 13 Drama Desk Award wins, 69 Drama Desk Award nominations, 1 Emmy Award win and 5 Emmy Award nominations.

Tickets on sale now and are $50 for the Saturday 11/9 performance.

Tickets for the Friday 11/8 benefit performance are $100, including open bar and light fare beginning at 6PM, or $50 for the show only beginning at 8PM.
