ORAMA THEATER COMPANY Auditioning For BROADWAY MUSICAL REVUE

Orama Theater Company is a community theater company located in Nassau County Long Island NY. Our mission is to serve the community by providing memorable performances for the audience, as well as equipping and educating passionate performers.

Open Call auditions for the Broadway Musical Revue: "We Will Dance" will take place at The American Legion Hall 51 Roosevelt Ave. in Valley Stream, New York on Monday, December 15, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Daniel Orama, co-founder of the Orama Theater Company says, "We want to encourage talented local artists to audition" for "We Will Dance" scheduled to be performed on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 8pm. "It's a great opportunity to work with professional talent and a time you will never forget".

To audition, the prospective talent will be required to sing, or perform an original dance, to 16 bars of music. The talent must provide own instrumental accompaniment (CD etc.).

We will announce the cast on our website www.oramatheatercompany.com within one to two weeks of our decision. We are looking for talent that has a passion for theater and is team-oriented. The prospective talent must also have reliable transportation and be able to attend scheduled rehearsals. In return for your hard work, you will be afforded the opportunity to work with like-minded talent, a great team, contribute to the community-while building your acting portfolio, and possibly receive a small stipend.
