OOMPAH Arts-in-Education and The John W. Engeman Theater Partner to Raise Money for the Huntington School District
On Wednesday, February 29 at the John W. Engeman Theater, Kevin O'Neill, Executive Producer and Owner of the Theater, presented a check in the amount of $2,620 to OOMPAH for Arts in Education Committee. OOMPAH partnered with the John W. Engeman Theater to help raise money for supplemental curricular programming in grades K-12 throughout the Huntington School District. The Arts in Education committee is dedicated to providing educational programming of the highest value to the students of Huntington.
For every ticket that was sold to A Wonderful Life using the "HAIE" Promotional code, the John W. Engeman Theater generously donated $10.00 to OOMPAH Arts in Education. This partnership is beneficial for both entities as it encourages the community to enjoy quality productions at a discount while giving back to OOMPAH Arts in Education.
"Due to the economic constraints imposed at this time, we rely on the community to aid us in our pursuit of excellence. The success of this partnership can be attributed to the quality of the performances at the John W. Engeman Theater. Both the John W. Engeman Theater and Huntington's Arts in Education Committee hold our presentations to the utmost scrutiny," said Nina Fleisig, OOMPAH AIE Co-Chair. "On behalf of the Arts in Education committee, we graciously and gratefully accept this contribution from the John W. Engeman Theater."
