Hooked, a play by Danielle Burby, will premier for 10 performances over three weekends, starting April 24, 2014, at Bare Bones Theater Company, 57 Main Street, Northport NY.

The play traces relationships among young, single and unattached millennials in this era that's seeing the death of traditional dating. Three twenty-something roommates--one a hopeless romantic, one with a hidden past, and one with a deep fear of attachment--navigate the world of casual sex and relationships in the weekend that changes their friendships forever.

Ten performances: April 24, 25, 26, 27; May 2, 3, 4; 9; 10, 11. Curtain time is 8 PM, except 2 PM on Sundays. Written by Long Island playwright Danielle Burby; directed by Jeff Bennett; produced by Caitlin Esposito. With Stephanie Kaltsas, Marina Montes, Miriam Korn, Kyle Grant, and Ravi Tawney. Bare Bones Theater Company was founded in 2000 to bring the power of performance, not the trappings of the stage, to the fore in Long Island theater. More information is at www.barebonestheater.com.
