Maddog Mattern Headlines April 19 Comedy Night at Planting Fields, Oyster Bay

On Friday April 5, 2013 at 9pm, Periwinkles Catering and SGF Production, after a very successful grand opening March 15, continues its Friday Night Comedy Series at the Planting Fields (1395 Planting Fields Rd, Oyster Bay NY) with its first Headliner Stand-Up Comedy show featuring Headliner Maddog Mattern (Howard Stern Comedy Tour, Opie & Anthony, Artie Lange Show) with special guests including Jared Fried (MTV) and Paul DeGrocco (b103, LI Ducks). General Admission Tickets (via Ovation 866.811.4111) are just $20 at the door plus food & drink minimums.

The feedback from the first two shows (via guest surveys and online feedback on numerous sites) is unanimous. Oyster Bay Comedy Night offers the same show and same comics typically seen at any top professional Comedy Club in the NYC area - professional talent from TV & Clubs - however, Oyster Bay offers above average venue, food, drink and service.

The event (and future performances in the series) is held bi-monthly at the Historic Hay Barn at Planting Fields Arboretum State Historic Park (www.plantingfields.com), Long Island's premier public arboretum and historic site located in Oyster Bay, New York. A former Gold Coast estate, the arboretum is comprised of 409 acres of greenhouses, rolling lawns, formal gardens, woodland paths, and outstanding plant collections.

Exclusive caters in the facility, Periwinkles offers a full bar plus gourmet sandwiches, finger foods and desserts. Periwinkles also runs the Garden Café and numerous private events at the Arboretum.
