Landmark on Main Street Announces Amy Dash as New Development Director

By:

Landmark on Main Street, Inc. is proud to announce the appointment of longtime Port Washington resident Amy Dash as Director of Development. Since joining Landmark in July, Amy has been working closely with the Landmark on Main Street senior management team to create and oversee the implementation of a strategic approach to fundraising, including sponsorships, the annual Spotlight Gala, major gifts, individual and corporate donations and planned giving.

Landmark Executive Director Laura Mogul is thrilled to have Amy on board. "Landmark occupies a special place in the fabric of Port Washington life. As home to a unique mix of cultural, educational and family activities, we rely on support from our community to help us grow our programs and maintain our historic facility. Amy has the perfect blend of creativity, professional skill and commitment to help us take Landmark to the next level."

Amy brings an ideal combination of professional, academic and personal experience to Landmark. Professionally, Amy has worked for Federated Department Stores, The Saltzman Center of Hofstra University and The Women's Fund of LI. She also has a long history of community service and volunteerism. Amy is currently Vice President of Education at The Community Synagogue, and has previously served on the South Salem Elementary School HSA board and The Village Club Tennis Committee.

Amy is a certified professional fundraiser having completed her certification through New York University in 2012.

"I look forward to bringing my experience and my history of involvement with local and regional non-profits to Landmark on Main Street." Amy says. "It's exciting to be entering our 21st year as a successful community-based organization and I only hope to add to our bright future."

Landmark on Main Street is a not-for-profit community center and theater that enhances the spirit and enriches the communities of Port Washington and surrounding regions. Now in its 21st year, it is a unique confluence of local history, culture, recreation, arts and community services. The Jeanne Rimsky Theater is vibrant with concerts, lectures, shows, comedy, and performances. Find Landmark on the web at www.landmarkonmainstreet.org.
