Center Stage at Southampton Cultural Center (25 Pond Lane, Southampton) presents Joe Landry's, It's a Wonderful Life, a Live Radio Play and A Christmas Carol, A Live Radio Play.
It's a Wonderful Life performances are November 25th at 5:00 pm and November 27th at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. A Christmas Carol performances are December 2nd 7:00 pm, December 3rd 2:00, 5:00 and 7:00 pm and December 4th 2:00 and 5:00 pm
The beloved classics, It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol, literal spring to life in Joe Landry's clever takes on the granted wish of George Bailey and the epiphany of Ebenezer Scrooge. Produced and written as live 1940s radio shows, Landry's adaptations gets to the heart of each story and aurally and visually recreate an era of hope and understanding, Assisted by sound effects and an actor's vocal prowess only, It's a Wonderful Life and A Christmas Carol are echoes of simpler times and the power of story and storytelling.
