Walton Arts Center Presents POSTSECRET PostSecret: The Show is bringing audience-sourced storytelling to the Walton Arts Center stage for a limited three-show engagement at 7:30 pm on Friday, March 9 and at 2 pm and 8 pm on Saturday, March 10.

Single tickets are $25 plus applicable fees and can be purchased in-person at the Walton Arts Center Box Office, by calling 479.443.5600 or by visiting waltonartscenter.org. For downloadable photos, visit the PostSecret: The Show Dropbox.

The show is based on PostSecret (www.postsecret.com), the internationally recognized public art project where people confess their secrets on homemade postcards anonymously. PostSecret curator and creator, Frank Warren, posts a selection of cards each week on the website.

This stage adaptation is a collaboration between Warren and Canadian theater veterans T.J. Dawe, Kahlil Ashanti and Justin Sudds. Projected images, videos, three actors and a guitarist guide the audience through crowd-sourced narratives revealing the true stories behind the secrets. It brings these moving (and occasionally controversial) stories to the stage with a life-affirming message: "you are not alone."

The show features real stories of how the project has impacted the lives of people around the world, and features dozens of never-before-seen postcards including secrets submitted from Northwest Arkansas. With the bravery of RENT and the surprising honesty of The Vagina Monologues, PostSecret: The Show is a breakthrough, reminding audiences that secrets can be both walls and bridges.

PostSecret has published six best-selling books, been a featured exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and The Smithsonian Institute in Washington, D.C., inspired over 1 million postcard submissions and accumulated 1.5 million Facebook followers.
