World-renowned tenor Anthony Kearns will perform at a reception to benefit the Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute at the William J. Clinton Presidential Center in Little Rock, Ark. on Tues., March 29 from 5 to 7 p.m.

Kearns' performance was announced by former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee just prior to a second appearance by Kearns on the Fox News Network's weekend show, "Huckabee."

"I was pleased to broadcast the news about Anthony's concert because of my deep friendship and respect for the late Winthrop P. Rockefeller, who served as Lieutenant Governor of Arkansas from 1996-2006, as well as my admiration for Anthony's voice," said Huckabee. "Anthony will certainly wow the crowd."

Kearns said it will be his first visit to Little Rock. "I appreciate the governor's support for what is certain to be a great evening and I look forward to visiting his home state," he said.

Mr. Kearns, a member of the popular singing group - The Irish Tenors - is currently on an ambitious U.S. concert tour. Kearns recently sang at a peace awards ceremony hosted by former President Bill Clinton for former Prime Minister Tony Blair last September. "It will be an honor to perform at the Clinton Center for such a worthy cause," he said.

The event is sponsored by Delta Trust & Bank, Friday, Eldredge & Clark, LLP, AT & T, The Stella Boyle Smith Trust, the William. J. Clinton Foundation, the Peabody Hotel, and others.

French Hill, CEO and Chairman of the Board for Delta Trust & Bank, said: "What a beautiful evening it will be to hear such a phenomenal voice and support such a wonderful cause."

"Our law firm is honored to be a part of bringing the resounding voice of Anthony Kearns to central Arkansas, as well an opportunity to support a great charity we care deeply for," said Kevin Crass, a key organizer and partner at Friday, Eldredge & Clark. Crass is a member of the UAMS Foundation Fund board.

The Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute is the state's premier cancer research facility and one of the nation's most respected cancer centers. For details on how to purchase tickets, call 501.686.5392 or e-mail: cancerfoundation@uams.edu.
