Winner of 'America's Got Talent' Signs Deal With Mirage

By:

Terry Fator, winner of NBC's " America 's Got Talent," and The Mirage announced Fator signed a five-year deal, with an option for an additional five years, to perform at the iconic resort.  The Mirage, which has been home to the city's most celebrated entertainment over the years, including world-famous illusionists Siegfried & Roy, The Beatles™ LOVE™ by Cirque du Soleil® and Danny Gans, will launch a new era with the introduction of Terry Fator.  Fator will perform five shows a week in the 1,265-seat Terry Fator Theatre (currently the Danny Gans Theatre) beginning in February 2009.  Tickets will go on sale later this year.

Scott Sibella, president and COO of The Mirage, said, "Terry is an extraordinary talent and won the hearts of millions of Americans when he competed in the TV show.  We are thrilled that he will perform at The Mirage where millions more will be able to enjoy him."

"We're absolutely thrilled for Terry's meteoric success following his victory on ' America 's Got Talent' less than a year ago," said the show's executive producer, Cecile Frot-Coutaz.  "It is a true testament to his talent as an entertainer, and has really raised the bar for our upcoming third season."

The comic impersonator, along with his cast of seven puppets, combines the art of ventriloquism with celebrity impressions.  Fator and his puppets, Cowboy Walter, Emma Taylor and Winston the Impersonating Turtle, effortlessly perform the singing styles of an eclectic group of stars including Elvis, Maroon Five, Nat King Cole and Natalie Cole, James Blunt and Marvin Gaye.

Terry Fator said, "This is an unbelievable dream come true and I am looking forward to becoming a member of The Mirage family."

The Mirage, the hotel that introduced the concept of destination resort to the Las Vegas Strip, offers upscale AAA Four Diamond accommodations, fashionable shopping boutiques, JET Nightclub, 170,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, and fine dining restaurants created by the world's most acclaimed designers and renowned chefs.  Unique entertainment options include The Beatles™ LOVE™, Cirque du Soleil's production celebrating the musical legacy of The Beatles, and the lush animal sanctuary of Siegfried & Roy's Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat.  From the iconic volcano and the 20,000-gallon lobby aquarium to the lush tropical atrium and pool, guests experience a world-class destination unlike any other.  The Mirage is a wholly owned subsidiary of MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM).  For more information and reservations, visit the web site at www.mirage.com, or call toll free at (800) 627-6667.
