The Smith Center for the Performing Arts Brings Country Music Icon Trace Adkins to Las Vegas, 4/28

By:

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts continues to diversify its roster of world-class entertainment with a one-night-only concert with platinum-selling country music recording artist Trace Adkins inside Reynolds Hall on Sunday, April 28 at 7:30 p.m.

One of country music's most accomplished entertainers, Adkins' trademark baritone has powered countless chart topping hits and has sold more than 10 million albums. The Grammy nominee and Grand Ole Opry member has produced 10 solo albums, including the recently released Christmas album "We Three Kings." Adkins' eleventh studio album, "Tough People Do," will drop this spring.

His headlining date at The Smith Center is sure to be a crowd pleaser and will feature some of his most famed hits spanning his 17-year career including "(This Ain't) No Thinkin' Thing," "Ladies Love Country Boys" and "You're Gonna Miss This."

The oil-rigger-turned-country star is a famed television personality and screen actor with credits including NBC's "Celebrity Apprentice," where his integrity and wry humor made him a fan favorite and eventually a season finalist; three-time co-host of FOX's American County Awards; and a recent role in "The Lincoln Lawyer" playing a tougher-than-nails biker.

Adkins, known for his work with the Wounded Warrior Program and the American Red Cross, is not only a famed musician but a revered author, actor and philanthropist. The recording artist will soon embark on his eighth USO Tour performing for troops serving across the globe.

Tickets go on sale Friday, Feb. 15 at The Smith Center Box Office, located at 361 Symphony Park Avenue, by phone at 702-749-2000 or 808-326-6868 (TTY) and online at www.TheSmithCenter.com. For preferred seating and special rates for groups of 10 or more, contact 702-749-2348.
