Long-Running Forever Plaid to Close in Las Vegas on April 1

Forever Plaid: The Heavenly Musical Hit, will close in two weeks, capping off a successful off-Broadway run on Sunday, April 1. The hit musical comedy debuted at the Flamingo's Bugsy Celebrity Theatre in 1995, and at the Gold Coast Showroom in 2005.

Forever Plaid, which has seen over 4,700 performances in Las Vegas, features 29 songs from the 1950s and 60s, including "Rags to Riches," "Love is a many-Splendored Things," "Moments to Remember" and "Three Coins in a Fountain." The show follows a harmonizing quartet, the Plaids, who were killed in a bus crash on their way to their debut, and somehow return to Earth to finally play the big show.

 A production of Forever Plaid will return to the Sycuan Resort & Casino in El Cajon, CA, starting the week of April 9. The cast will include J. Greg Davis, Doulgas Frank, David Humphrey, Kevin McMahon, and Dale Sandish with David Kancsar on piano and Fred Watstein on bass.
