'King of Comedy' D.L. Hughley Brings Standup Act to The Orleans Showroom, 8/5-6

Comedian, actor, writer and radio personality D.L. Hughley will bring his popular standup act to The Orleans Showroom, August 5 and 6, each evening at 8 p.m.

Hughley, possibly most recognized for his participation in the 2000 film "The Original Kings of Comedy," has entertained millions spanning multiple platforms from daytime, prime time and late-night television to film and radio.

On television, Hughley was the producer and star of "The Hughleys," which ran on ABC and UPN, from 1998 through 2002 and was a series regular on NBC's "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip." He has appeared on HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," BET's "S.O.B.: Socially Offensive Behavior" and has filmed several comedy specials, including "D.L. Hughley: Goin' Home," "D.L. Hughley Live," "Shocked & Appalled" and in 2007, the HBO special "D.L. Hughley: Unapologetic."

Additional television and film credits include, "Inspector Gadget," "Inspector Gadget 2," "Scrubs," "Scary Movie 3" and "Soul Plane," among others.

On radio, he hosted "The D.L. Hughley Morning Show" on WRKS-FM in New York and is currently a weekly contributor to the nationally syndicated program, "The Tom Joyner Morning Show."
