WHAT: The hilarious duo Kevin Smith and Jason Mewes performing a live Podcast of "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old" at the Hard Rock Cafe on the Strip. The once stoner pop icons; now lazy and want to nap and eat soft foods, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith, are back for limited touring engagements to fight a losing battle against adulthood. The film icons will reunite to perform live across the country for their comedy podcast "Jay & Silent Bob Get Old" live. Jason and Kevin first became noticed for their characters Jay & Silent Bob from the movies Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing Amy, Dogma, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back and Clerks 2.

Kevin Smith is an American screenwriter, actor, film producer, and director. Smith is also a popular comic book writer, author, comedian, and internet radio personality best recognized as Silent Bob. He is also the co-founder of View Askew Productions, and owner of Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash comic book and novelty store in his home state of New Jersey. Smith is best known for participating in legendary and humorous Q&A sessions that are filmed for DVD releases.

Jason Mewes is an American television and film actor. Mewes made his first film debut in Clerks as Jay. The film was a huge success and ever since, Mewes has been recognized and identified with the role of Jay. Currently Mewes co-hosts a weekly podcast with Smith called "Jay and Silent Bob Get Old" which is on tour recording stories of the two grown up Hollywood film icons. He also co-hosts a daily internet radio show called "Jay and Silent Bob Get Jobs." Jason is currently starring in Todd in the Book of Pure Evil - a Canadian horror/comedy series premiering in the US August 2nd on FearNet.

Opening the show will be another live podcast entitled "Hollywood Babble-On" hosted by Kevin Smith and Ralph Garman (KROQ's Kevin & Bean show, The Joe Schmo Show)

Tickets on sale Friday, June 10 at 10am and can be purchased at the Hard Rock Cafe Box Office or at ticketweb.com. Tickets are $37.50 in advance and $42.50 day of show.
