A graduate of Georgetown University, James Stephens III is considered one of the most versatile and talented comedians of today. As an actor, musician and master comedian, his crossover appeal has taken him around the world year after year. He has appeared at Carnegie Hall and the world famous Apollo Theatre. From Las Vegas to London, he has traveled the globe sharing his unique style of comedy. Not only does he capture voice inflection of the people he imitates, he also becomes that person. His impressions include such great voices as Ray Charles, Stevie Wonder, Bill Cosby, Eddie Murphy, Michael McDonald, Elvis Presley and Snoop Dogg, to name a few.

In addition to his impressions and stand-up, he also plays more than five instruments. His incisive wit and stunning musical impressions have earn him opening slots for Aretha Franklin, Al Jarreau, Julio Estefan, as well as a growing number of television appearances including MTV's Half Hour Comedy Hour, Comedy Central, hosting NBC's Friday Night Videos, The Dana Carvey Show and a starring role in the FOX sketch comedy The Edge. Among his many projects, Stephens is most proud of his own production, Santa Claus Ain't Coming', an anti drug music video co-starring Cuba Gooding and Billy Dee Williams

In addition to regular appearances on television and comedy stages across the country, Stephens is a frequent speaker at public schools where he uses his humor to inspire children on the importance of education, and the dangers of drugs. Through The James Stephens III Foundation, he provides students with scholarships each year. Stephens has also given vivacious motivational presentations to corporations and organizations from the McDonalds Corporation to Time Magazine, NAACP and Urban League, with rave reviews.
