Bob Saget Brings His Adult Stand-up Humor to The Orleans Showroom

With more than 30 years of performing his trademark stand-up act in theaters and showrooms throughout North America, comedian Bob Saget will appear at The Orleans Showroom for a two-night engagement, January 27 and 28, both evenings at 8 p.m.

Known nationally from his two long-running series on ABC -- “Full House” and “America’s Funniest Home Videos” – Saget’s calling card today is his adult-themed brand of comedy, dealing with life as a single dad, dating, divorce and any questions you had about “Full House.” In 2007, Saget filmed the HBO comedy special “Bob Saget: That Ain’t Right.” Later in the year, he wrote, directed, produced and voiced-over the film “Farce of the Penguins,” which also starred the voices of Samuel L. Jackson, Christina Applegate, Lewis Black, Tracy Morgan, Mo’Nique and fifty of comedy’s biggest names.

From 2006 to 2008, Saget hosted the NBC quiz show “1 vs. 100,” where he ad-libbed his way through the one-hour prime time game. In 2008, he was the subject of a Comedy Central roast and in 2009 he appeared in his own sitcom “Surviving Suburbia.” Saget has a recurring role in the HBO series “Entourage,” for which he appeared in multiple episodes until the series ended.

Saget has appeared on film in “Half Baked,” “Dumb & Dumber” and “The Aristocrats,” among others. In 2007, he appeared in the Tony Award-winning musical comedy “The Drowsy Chaperone,” which he considers one of his best professional experiences. In 2010, Saget produced episodes of “Strange Days with Bob Saget,” a comedy documentary series for The Arts and Entertainment Network. In the series, he explored unusual subcultures throughout America.
