Noah has gained a loyal following by using his witty and worldly sense of humor to tackle some of today's most-pressing issues. The past year has been monumental for Noah as he won his first Emmy Award for "Outstanding Short Form Variety Series" for his YouTube special, "The Daily Show: Between the Scenes," and also debuted his ninth comedy special, "Afraid of the Dark," on Netflix.

In addition to his television career, Noah is a successful author. In 2016, he released his first book Born a Crime: Stories from a South African Childhood. The book, which details his experiences growing up during the final years of apartheid, became an instant New York Times Bestseller and went on to become Audible's 2016 highest-rated audiobook.
