Chazz Palminteri's A Bronx Tale has been extended at The Venetian Resort and Casino through October 24. It was originally supposed to run only through October 18.

Sources at the hotel say the reception for the one-man show has been "so spectacular" that they approached the actor and he "quickly" agreed to extend the run.

A Bronx Tale is the one-man retelling of the actor-author Palminteri's childhood wherein he plays 18 characters. These range from himself as a nine-year old to various Runyonesque characters from his neighborhood and — most important — his father and the local mob boss.

A Bronx Tale plays in The Venetian Showroom at 8 pm. Tickets are priced rom $46 to $86 including tax and handling fees. There is a VIP package that includes a meet-and-greet with Palminteri available for $146. To purchase, visit www.venetian.com or call 702/414/9000.
