ARCADIA
By Tom Stoppard
Directed by Barb Nichols

June 10-26, 2016
Fri/Sat 8 pm & Sun 2 pm

This thought-provoking 1993 play by Tom Stoppard is about the relationship between past and present, order and disorder, certainty and uncertainty. It has been praised by many critics as the finest play from one of the most significant contemporary playwrights in the English language. Set in Sidley Park, an English country house in Derbyshire, the play takes place in both Georgian era England and the present day. The activities of the house’s current residents, two modern scholars, are contrasted with those of the people who occupied the house nearly two centuries earlier.

Ages: 14 and up (occasional strong language and adult situations)
