Unicorn Theatre Opens GOOD PEOPLE, 2/27

Margie Walsh has been fired. Again. Scrambling to catch a break, she thinks an old flame who made it out of their working class neighborhood might be her ticket to a fresh start. This humorous and topical play explores the struggles, shifting loyalties and unshakeable hopes that come from having next to nothing in America.

This play was a 2011 Tony Award nominee for best play, and won the New York Drama Critics' Circle Award for Best Play.

Good People plays on Unicorn Theatre's Mainstage located at 3828 Main Street, Kansas City, MO 64111. The play runs February 27 through March 24, 2013. Previews are February 27, 28 & March 1. Opening Night is Mar. 2.
Special note: Due to St. Patrick's Day, we will have performances at 3pm and 8pm on Saturday, March 16, and no performance on Sunday, March 17.

Performances Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday are at 7:30 pm, Friday and Saturday at 8:00 pm, and Sunday at 3:00 pm. Talk back performances, where patrons are encouraged to stay after the show and discuss the play with the actors and director, are scheduled for March 5, 10, & 12.
