STORY OF THE PLAY

This American farce begins as former Senator Harry Douglas becomes the American Ambassador to England. Harry is up to his old shenanigans. He tells his wife Lois and daughter Debbie he is going on a golf outing for the weekend. In light of this, his wife and daughter make plans of their own. Perkins, the quintessential English butler, watches stoically as each leaves and then secretly returns for a romantic rendezvous of their own, thinking the house will be empty.

Captain South arrives to announce that due to a bomb scare the house has to be sealed off. Throw in a clumsy secretary, a love crazed boyfriend and a sexy next door neighbor  and you are guaranteed an evening of madcap merriment from start to finish.
