The Paul Mesner Puppets, a professional puppet theater company is proud to present an adaptation of Patricia McKissack's book, Flossie and the Fox. Performances run from February 2 through February 20, 2011 at the Paul Mesner Puppet Studio, Kansas City, Missouri in the heart of Hyde Park. Flossie and the Fox is perfect for ages three and older.

Paul Mesner Puppets' adaptation of this contemporary children's story, Flossie and the Fox, is a jaunty retelling of the Little Red Riding Hood story peppered with the rich dialect of the rural South. Flossie and the Fox tell the story of Flossie Finley's first encounter with a sly egg poaching fox. Upon meeting in the woods, Flossie challenges the fox by calling him a rabbit, a rat, but never a fox. Just what will it take for the slick-talking fox to prove he's the real thing?
