A SPECTACULAR CHRISTMAS SHOW Sets Box Office Record at MTH Theater
This morning The MTH Theater at Crown Center announced their 2017 production of A Spectacular Christmas Show has set a box office record as the highest-grossing, most attended Holiday show in the Theater's history.
2017 marks the tenth year MTH has produced an original holiday show at Crown Center and audiences have responded enthusiastically to the 90 minute singing and dancing spectacular. Written and Directed by Tim Scott, the entirely Kansas City based company features Taylor Avazpour, Katie Bartow, Sydney Benton, Amy Hurrelbrink, Lily Nicholas, Chris Owen, Fisher Stewart, Robert Erik Sobbe, and Morgan Walker.
This year's all new production features holiday music taken from Musical Theater, innovative arrangements of holiday classics (many arranged by MTH resident Music Director Jeremy Watson), and original choreography by Kenny Personett.
"This year's Spectacular Christmas Show is the highest grossing Holiday production in our history. Each year we are finding that more and more people are making it a part of their annual Christmas tradition and we couldn't be happier to welcome so many familair and new faces to our Theater at Crown Center," said Chad Gerlt, MTH Executive Director.
A Spectacular Christmas Show contiunes through December 23 at The MTH Theater at Crown Center.
