Length: Part-Time Internship (5–10 hours/week)

Location: NYC | Hybrid (Mostly Virtual)

Payment: Unpaid, for College Credit (if a college student)

Start Date: August 3rd, 2026

End Date: December 18th, 2026 (possible extension to the Spring, if wanted). The Table Read Co. is seeking an organized, creative, and collaborative Admin / Social Media Intern to join our growing team, interested in producing new works across Manhattan. Founded just one year ago, The Table Read Co. supports emerging theatre voices through intimate readings, feedback, and a collaborative space to grow new work from the page to the stage. We are passionate about building community, uplifting new writers, and creating opportunities for artists to hear and develop their work. This internship is ideal for a college student or early-career creative interested in networking, producing, casting, writing, arts administration and/or new works development. We are looking for someone willing to jump into lots of different roles, learn as much as possible and help out our core team of 3 as needed. About Us At The Table Read Co., we aim to support emerging theatre voices through intimate readings, feedback, and a collaborative space to grow your work from the page to the stage. We are a fresh company and our goal is to take your project (in whatever stage it is at) and give you a cast, space, and opportunity to hear it — and possibly see it on its feet.

We want to use our theatrical community to create opportunities for each other and uplift new writers together.

Our dream is to bring people together to create, boost, and appreciate new theatre. Responsibilities

* Assist with social media content creation and scheduling

* PR management and reaching out to organizations on behalf of the Founder, Kristen

* Help maintain organizational/admin systems and communications

* Support outreach for events, readings, and collaborations

* Attend NYC-based events/readings when possible

* Assist with general producing support and company operations

* Contribute ideas for growing community engagement and audience reach Ideal Candidate

* Strong communication and organizational skills

* Flexibility in work hours is ideal

* Interest in theatre, producing, arts administration, or new works

* Comfortable with Instagram and social media platforms

* Self-motivated and excited to work with a growing company

* NYC-based preferred (though much of the role can be virtual) Bonus Experience (Not Required)

* Fundraising or development experience

* Literary management or dramaturgy experience

* Graphic design/content creation skills What You’ll Gain

* Hands-on experience working with a developing theatre company

* Direct communication with our Founder/Artistic Director, the Management Director and the Literary Manager/Fundraising Coordinator

* Exposure to many different aspects of producing and new work development
