Role Overview
Responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering complex themed-entertainment fabrication projects from concept
through installation. Oversees cross-department workflows—including paint, carpentry, welding/metal, CNC machining, and
fiberglass—to ensure safe, high-quality, on-schedule, and on-budget execution.
Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination · Develop project schedules, milestones, and resource plans across all departments.
· Coordinate cross-disciplinary workflows to ensure smooth handoffs between carpentry, metal, CNC, fiberglass, and
paint stages.
· Translate creative/technical direction into actionable tasks for fabrication teams.
· Identify risk areas early and implement mitigation solutions.
Budget & Cost Control
· Prepare and manage project budgets, estimates, and change orders.
· Track materials, labor hours, and external vendor costs; report variances proactively.
· Maintain cost transparency with leadership and clients.
Communication & Documentation
· Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, clients, and vendors.
· Maintain clear written documentation including project briefs, meeting notes, production updates, and install plans.
· Communicate schedule changes, technical clarifications, and approvals to all stakeholders.
Shop Floor & Production Oversight
· Work with department heads to prioritize tasks and allocate labor effectively.
· Ensure quality standards and expectations are met through the use of established standard operating procedures.
· Support shop leads in resolving production issues or technical conflicts.
Vendor & Material Management
· Work with the Administrative Director to ensure materials are purchased.
· Oversee vendor quoting, lead times, and delivery schedules to align with production timelines.
· Manage outsourced specialty fabrication when required.
Client & Creative Interface
· Facilitate design reviews, material samples, color callouts, and mock-ups.
· Present weekly progress updates, cost implications, and timeline impacts.
· Ensure final products align with creative intent and client expectations.
Installation & Closeout
· Plan and coordinate on-site installation logistics, labor, and sequencing.
· Produce installation drawings, packing lists, and loadout plans.
· Oversee punch lists and project closeout documentation.

· Proficiency with AutoCAD, Rhino, and Inventor to review drawings/models and aid in communication.
